Not to be outdone by Nintendo or Microsoft, Sony rolled out a very early stage motion-sensing controller that, in collaboration with EyeToy, can detect a gamer’s motion accurately and display them on screen. Read about our impressions of Sony’s E3 here: civilizedgamers.com

@Pooverse It’s true. Nintendo made it first. Sony just made it better.

@360cheaters Well you do know the first motion controller was the POWERGLOVE on the original NES. The first Camera controler was on the gameboy with Gameboy camera. The first motion controlled videogame was kirby tilt and tumble on Gameboy. What part of motion gameing did sony do first again?

@360cheaters you are right, I knew that 360 copied the EyeToy, but I didn’t count on that Nintendo copied with the motion control, very good observation there.
I can tell that Sony PlaystationMove will be a huge success

@360cheaters Thats what pisses me off.. Sony was waaaaaayyyy in front of Nintendo but they refused to build on the technology.. Now they are behind the 8 ball.. Stupid mann… stupid..

And isn´t it completely use- and senseless to discuss about what will possibly do better – project natal or sony´s arc – when no one of you has ever had a hand neither on the first nor on the second one – we will all know better in december when project natal will be available (the arc comes out in autumn). Stop your fanboy-war!

One last thing: Personally I am not quite sure, but not being limited to these two motion controllers but being able to control just by the movements of your hands, legs, feet, body…seems to be more natural, more realistic, doesn´t it? Seems to provide more possibilities. For instance when I want to shoot a gun, I grab the gun, and I shoot…I do not have a stick doing as if I am holding a gun and pressing a little switch for shooting.

There is just one point: gesture oriented controlling seems to be the big deal for the future – even for cell phones and mp3-players…and Nintendo managed to bring out a system with poor graphics but with a cool motion controlled gameplay and they sold this system better than the 360 and PSIII were – combined – .
So if it is possible to have the same or even an improved gameplay with the motion controller and the PSIII (in comparison to the wii) I would be looking fwd to buying it very much.

@xCLEPTOzPLEPTOx I already know about the perfect game for pedophiles. besides you know that whole part where she is talking to Milo is fake look it up the Playstation Move doesn’t hide behind commercials, every thing you see in their commercials there is a tech demo that shows them doing it in real time no editing like the Xbox 360 Natal commercials do.
January 11th, 2010 on 12:08 pm
@08jnope Search up Meet Milo – NATAL
January 11th, 2010 on 12:16 pm
@xCLEPTOzPLEPTOx do you know anything about the Eye Toy look up “natal debunked” and you’ll see. EVERYTHING shown in the Natal Advertisement/ Commercial already came out for the Eye Toy.
January 11th, 2010 on 1:01 pm
@08jnope Natal doesn’t use a controller – eye toy does. That definitely sounds like a rip off!

@360cheaters Nintendo stared motion sensing tech(Inside the Controller) back in the 80’s with the power glove but but Nintendo copied Playstation in the fact that you have a controller in your and its being tracked by sensors on or near TV (Outside of Controller) Natal = Playstation eye toy copy no dout
Its funny how Kudo was talkin up old technology (watch the avatar in the background at the E3 2009 tech demo “ever wonder what the bottom of an avatars shoe looks like WAABAMM!! Avatar seizure!
